Zenith El Primero chronograph from 1969 with an amazing brown ‘luminova’ service dial by zenith. Actually this is the only dial known for this zenith model which is totally brown, only supplied as a service dial which is very rare as i only have seen one other piece with this dial in the last 10 years.
Super rare piece which is highly sought after just as other chronograph watches featuring this amazing movement which has also been used by rolex for their cosmography daytona,
The case of the watch is in unpolished great condition. The movement has been serviced and is running great. The case is very sharp and could be polished on request, here at Vintage Times Amsterdam we like too keep the watch in vintage ‘worn’ condition, of course it could be polished like new again.
All functions of the watch are working and and its keeping time great. One of the chronograph pushers has been changed in the past. The dial of this watch is really what makes it a killer piece, its a very classic watch and its nice to combine with different leather straps. You will get one extra strap by choice when buying this watch!
